I am in desperate need of a power wheelchair! 

I have to have my leg amputated and want to get the medical equiptment needs taken care of now.  I am immobile at present but my old wheelchair is not electric and is falling apart from age. I am unable to go anywhere or get out of house. 

I need a powerchair to keep up with my 7 and 8 year old grandsons, who I have adopted.  I cannot do anything with them currently and their youth is whisking by quickly.  I have missed so much already. 

I am on medicaid which does not pay for power chairs. If you could find someone possibly  donating a chair, I would be extremely grateful(xtragr8ful):) How can I thank you enough for being my angel when I really need one?  Words cannot express my appreciation for this gift of help that you bring at this time in my life. Thanks so much for your kind thoughts.  I wish we could all help each other out and give each other what we need.  Money or prayers, kind words or whatever is needed. But, this is my lowest as far as income goes.

 In answer to your question, no the boys did not ever get a gift.  They still ask every couple days if it is their birthday. I feel just terrible lying to them.  Now, they need shoes and clothes to start school on top of everthing else.  If not for them needing me, I would have given up and crawled into a hole.

 I am curious though, were you ever able to get gifts for your boys? I have been in similar situations before and its so hard to be there. I don't think you are simply "giving" away your paintings by dropping the price some. If you are in need, and have that many bills that need paying, then it seems that you would want to make the cash to pay them off. There is nothing wrong with dropping the price on your work. Many people simply are not paying higher prices right now, because many of them have also lost their jobs. I think by dropping your prices, you would have more buyers, and be able to pay off those bills.

You do have the option of working to create more of them.

I even dropped the prices on my books and coins, but i am making money on them, so i don't see a problem with that.

Hmm, so tell me. What changed in your life to go from 10k to nothing? What made your life change that drastically?

I think if you did it once, you can do it again. 

I lock myself in my studio, and ponder if whoring my work off is wise. I feel as if every painting is a piece of me, and to simply reduce their value to pay bills... is devaluing myself. I love working, am willing to work; but no one will hire me. I hate it. I am in debt, drowning it. The IRS has leins against my banks accounts... nothing ever works out.

 There was a time, when I would make 10,000 a week. Selling paintings. Now I'm lucky to pay my half of the bills. At best. I am destitute, and broke, I do need help. I would be willing to wholesale artwork to someone willing to help me out, as long as it's a good home where it will be admired, rather than hung and ignored.

SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME HELP MYSELF.  I'm losing my sanity to overdue bills, and the feds.

Its not that your story is NOT bad enough, it just kind of doesn't make sense... you said you have no car, job, or home...yet you are fighting creditors - how do they even know how to reach you? Maybe I missed something but I just don't get it...

If you are homeless go to a shelter, stay with friends or family... 

If you need a job check with your employment development department 

to deal with the creditors - contact consumer credit counseling 

If you were denied social services - file an appeal 

for additional assistance  contact 211 in your area

Hey my friend, I know exactly what you are going through. It seems like when it rains, it pours lol. I am going through it bad right now too, alot of people are. Please do me a favor and try microgiving. You will need to go online to the website and fill out a request for help, then download a cover sheet and send in the documents they tell you to. sorry I kind of gave up on this site for a while...thanks for listening....Well I'm unemployed(I am filing an appeal right now which has been going on for 5 months with no word...), I live in a small town where there is absolutely no work, no jobs(I check daily), I have no car and cannot obtain my license back until I can pay for insurance and pay to get my car fixed. Im just frusterated, I cannot find anything or anyone to help me. I know giving up isn't the answer but trying is getting me nowhere, I just feel thwarted in every effort. I have nobody to help me and I just don't know what else to do. I can't get any aide from my state because I have no children, so go figure, when you need help the most, its not there....

I am one step away from bankruptcy and losing my daughter. I am the only family she knows and I don't want to see her bounced from home to home because I was not capable finacially. Please help me keep my daughter and give her a stable home. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am writing this letter with the hope that someone out there can give a fellow brother a helping hand.  I am a Police Officer and a veteran of the Gulf War.  I am drowning in bills right now.  I had shoulder surgery in December last year and I have been out of work for three months.  Unfortunatley for me, my injury happened while off duty so I had to use up all my sick days and vacation days.  I am still short on covering all the time I had to take off.  I was out from the 12/15/06 until 3/17/07.  I just recently got cleared for full duty again so I am working all the extra hours I can to keep my head above water. 

What I need right now is either any kind of financial donation that anyone can spare or information on a financial institution that will help me consolidate 30,000.00 dollars in debt to one payment that I can make every month to help me get on my feet again.

hello, i'm not the type of person who normally asks for help, but i find myself in a situation to do so.

i'm facing eviction, my employment has been a few days here and there. i dont know what else to do. i am seeking full-time work, but i need some financial help before i'm put out on the street.

i tried help from the local community programs, in one case i had to be one in 15 callers, you can imagine, right. i just need help right now. i need at least $500 to get caught up, until i become gainfully employed again.
